The beautiful Japanese garden at HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO really puts on a show across the four seasons – the breathtaking beauty of sakura cherry blossoms in the spring, summer is resplendently verdant, the colors of autumn are so striking, and in winter the snowscape is a wonder to behold. From THE GARDEN BAR one can relax, unwind and enjoy unparalleled views of the garden in the dusk, and as the light fades the scenery is gently uplit.

Kyara - Pound cake with kuromame black beans and caramel

Kyo-Yuzen Chocolates and Champagne

A perfect match: delightful champagne paired with artisanal chocolates decorated with beautiful motifs used in Kyo-yuzen silk resist dyeing.
The four bonbon chocolates feature a variety of flavours, including hojicha roasted green tea from Ryuoen, a purveyor of fine teas with deep roots in Kyoto. Another carries a hint of luxury: fragrant tones of the renowned whisky from the Yamazaki distillery. The fruity notes of the Ouriet-Pâture Blanc de Blancs Millésimé Grand Cru 2013 - an original champagne label specially created for HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO - pair wonderfully well with the rich, deep flavours of the chocolate in this tasteful and attractive offering.
