On November 3rd, 2025, HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO will mark its 5th anniversary with a one-night-only celebration of gratitude.
As dusk falls, the lobby will be graced by a commemorative Noh performance by Tatsunori Kongo, heir to the Kongo school. The evening continues with a grand anniversary dinner party, uniting the garden and restaurants in harmony.
Embodying our design concept of Teioku Ichinyo—the seamless unity of architecture and garden—this special night offers an unforgettable celebration of our 5th anniversary.
Noh Performance by Kongo School Heir, Tatsunori Kongo
To celebrate our 5th anniversary, HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO is honored to welcome Tatsunori Kongo, heir to the Kongo School, for a special Noh performance in the Lobby Lounge.
The program, Tatsuta, is an elegant masterpiece inspired by the Tatsuta River, portraying the beauty of autumn leaves and devotion to the divine. Its highlight lies in the goddess’s graceful kagura dance, filled with vibrant, celebratory movement.
Amidst the late-autumn garden, illuminated by flickering bonfires, guests will be immersed in a truly unique and memorable evening found only at our hotel.

5th Anniversary Dinner Party
On November 3rd, 2025, HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO will host a one-night-only dinner party celebrating our design concept Teioku Ichinyo—the seamless harmony of architecture and garden.
At FORNI and THE GARDEN BAR, enjoy a buffet of special menus created just for this evening, paired with free-flow drinks including a wide selection of Japanese wines. From THE GARDEN BAR counter, anniversary cocktails will be served while live music fills the autumn night with festive elegance.
