TOKI Lunch Courses Available from 4 July 2026

Starting July 4th, TOKI is delighted to officially commence lunch service.

Inspired by the theme of Kyoto’s water, these innovative courses offer a refined expression of the season, with three options available according to your preferred number of dishes.
On weekends and public holidays, lunch will be served in the main dining area.

On weekdays, guests are invited to enjoy a more private experience in one of our private dining rooms, limited to just three groups per day. For weekday lunch reservations, the private room charge will be waived.

We invite you to savour the culinary world created by Chef Asano over an elegant lunchtime experience at TOKI.

Weekday-Exclusive Private Room Plan

On weekdays, lunch at TOKI is served exclusively in our private dining rooms, offering a relaxed and intimate setting for special meals with family, friends or loved ones.

- Weekday lunch is available only under this plan. - The private room charge is waived for this plan. A separate private room charge applies on weekends and public holidays. - Available for parties of two or more. - Advance reservations are required.

Tetsuya Asano is Chef de Cuisine at TOKI, the signature restaurant at HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO.
After training in a number of renowned restaurants in the Netherlands and France, he worked at The Ritz Paris, where in 2017 he became the first Japanese to be appointed as executive sous-chef of the Ritz Paris' main dining room. Asano oversaw all of the hotel's restaurants, including Espadon, which was awarded two stars by the Michelin Guide. In December 2019, Asano was appointed Chef de Cuisine at TOKI. Chef Asano selected as Japan's representative at the Bocuse d'Or International Culinary Competition 2027.
