This winter, HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO presents a limited-time afternoon tea that celebrates the exquisite pairing of ripe Kyoto strawberries and rich, aromatic chocolate. Grown in pristine water and mineral-rich soil, locally harvested strawberries shine in a collection of refined sweets crafted to highlight their fresh fragrance and juicy texture.

The menu features warm cacao madeleines baked in our in-house oven and served straight to your table, generously finished with velvety praline chocolate sauce. An array of savory items also incorporates strawberry, cacao, and seasonal ingredients, adding color and depth to the experience.

From this afternoon tea, we have introduced a new premium option. The “Strawberry Parfait,” crafted by our pastry chef Itagaki, adds an elegant touch to your special moment. Guests can complete the parfait by drizzling the chocolate sauce at the table.
