Japanese restaurant YUI offers dishes prepared with the utmost care and attention, making the most of the traditional culinary techniques and skill of our chefs.
The Japanese cuisine at YUI is based on dashi-jiru, the traditional Japanese stock. Our SHOKADO Bento is made from sustainable ingredients such as locally produced and environmentally friendly seafood.

We offer a dessert wagon exclusive to our SHOKADO. You can choose from a selection of cookies, baked treats and petit-fours. Our pastry chefs have carefully assembled an irresistible array of sweets for you to choose from. Indulge yourself with a memorable and beautifully-prepared lunch at YUI.

Private rooms are available for up to 6 people Alternatively, you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine in our SHIKI-NO-MA, which is a reproduction of a room in the Kyoto residence of the Executive Branch of the Mitsui family.

Japanese Restaurant Chef at YUINobuhiro FUJISAWA

After graduating from the Kyoto Culinary Institute, Fujisawa worked at various ryokans and hotels throughout Japan before joining The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto as Sous-Chef at Mizuki.
Fujisawa then worked at Hotaru in the Kyoto Brighton Hotel as before taking up his current position at HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO.
