The Bocuse d'Or International Culinary Competition, known as the World Cup of Gastronomy, is where the world's top chefs compete.
On November 11, 2023, the final round was held to select Japan's representatives for the global team and individual finals to be held in 2025 and 2027 respectively. Chef Tetsuya Asano, the chef de cuisine at TOKI, scored a brilliant win at the competition, securing the prestigious title of Bocuse d'Or 2027 Japan Representative.
Moving forward, Chef Asano will participate in the 2025 World Competition as a member of the Japanese representative team and, in 2027 he will compete as the Japanese representative against the world's top chefs.
