While social media is becoming an increasingly important communication tool for corporations and individuals, there is also an increase in issues related to account misuse. The Mitsui Fudosan Group has formulated “Mitsui Fudosan Group Social Media Guidelines” for Group executive officers and employees to abide by regarding dissemination of information on official accounts, providing direction for sensible actions that are expected of members of society in both daily life and on the internet.

General Principles

Mitsui Fudosan Group executive officers and employees will adhere to the Mitsui Fudosan Group Compliance Policies and related regulations in regard to dissemination of information on social media. They will endeavor to carry out sincere and fair communication as sensible members of society. Mitsui Fudosan Group executive officers and employees understand the attributes of social media. They are fully cognizant of assuming a posture that listens closely and respects the statements of others, and take responsible actions. In addition, the Group has also formulated “Mitsui Fudosan Group Social Media Guidelines”.

For Social Media Users

Information disseminated on social media by Mitsui Fudosan Group executive officers and employees who manage official accounts are not necessarily official announcements or statements expressed by the Company. Official announcements and statements are carried out through the Mitsui Fudosan Group’s websites and news releases.
