In collaboration with the coffee shop Café Kitsuné, developed by the Paris-born lifestyle brand Maison Kitsuné, HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO will be offering the first-ever collaboration afternoon tea for a limited time starting January 15th, 2024.
Maison Kitsuné is a lifestyle brand originating from Paris. The name Kitsuné (fox) signifies versatility, inspired by the fox's ability in Japanese folklore to transform into anything. One aspect of the brand's lifestyle proposal, encompassing fashion and music, is Café Kitsuné.
Starting with a welcome drink of Yame-cha tea, the menu includes Religieuse Matcha, a traditional French pastry made with matcha, and Dorayaki Café, a dorayaki sweet sandwich with special coffee cream. There are also savoury items like Kyoto pork and strawberry croissants that evoke an authentic Parisienne flavour. Enjoy three types of Kitsuné Sablé, including a unique cheese flavor available only at HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO, and top them as you like. Don't miss the specialty coffee from a roaster in Okayama and our original mocktails.
