SPA Indulgence - Onsen Therapy Journey is an accommodation package that allows you to enjoy bathing in natural hot spring water as well as our SPA treatments to the fullest.
The package offers a new way to enjoy a hotel stay in the age of wellness, through relaxing in a luxurious and tranquil spa facility complete with treatments by ALAENA. HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO is the first location in Japan to feature products from the pioneering organic cosmeceutical brand ALAENA, which was created by a family of dermatologists.
The package includes a choice of two programmes with different objectives, 'Beauty' and ‘Relaxation/Healing', which were created around the theraputic powers of our Thermal Spring and Private Onsen, fed by the natural hot spring that is sourced from 1,000m below the property.

Package goes on sale from 1 February 2023 (Wednesday)
■Rate:
From JPY 177,000 per person per room/night (including taxes and service charges)
For double occupancy: JPY 127,500 per person, per night (including taxes and service charges)
* The length of stay can be adjusted according to the wishes of the guest at the time of booking.
* Rates will vary depending on room type and dates of stay.
* Availability is dependent on our reservations.
* Reservations must be made at least 7 days prior to your stay.

Our chef will prepare a special dinner that will help your body get in shape from the inside out. Delivered to your room at your convenience.
● Special turndown service
A soothing fragrance will lead you peacefully to sleep.
● Breakfast in the Private Onsen
Enjoy a vegan breakfast in our Private Onsen facility, which measures over 100m2.

● Customised scrub bar (only for guests that choose the Beauty option)
Guests can experience making their own scrub using unique ingredients such as azuki beans and soybean flour to suit their preferences, and treat their feet with a freshly made scrub prior to their Beauty treatment.
● Aroma steam sauna with whisking (only for guests that choose the Relaxation/Healing option)
Enjoy a whisking with a healing aroma in the steam sauna facility in our Private Onsen.
● Late check-out at 3pm (normally 12pm)
